Although it's hard to see from this photo, this is a really great example of the types of cacti we've been riding with for the last few days as we pass through part of the Sonoran desert, which extends from Southern CA, AZ and into northern Mexico.  Included in this scene are Prickly Pear, Ocotillo, Teddy Bear Collo and maybe a Saguaro cactus.  This is just fascinating to a Vermonter like moi.
