Lois then chauffered us to the Riverside Park (on the Wabash River - no train tracks seen, or Cannonballs...) where this fun, beautiful carousel graced the shores. We paid our 75 cents, grabbed some brass rings and had a blast riding on our favorite horses, amongst goats, lions, reindeer and giraffe, all hand carved by Gustav Dentzel. The volunteer says that there are only 3 of his carousels left in the US.
