Here are my roommates for the night at Foxfire Cabins near Vanderpool, Jan and Lois.  It was really fun to be in these cozy cabins where we were lulled to sleep by the yipping and howling of coyotes, who seem to be thriving in the West if the presence of their roadside scat is any indication.  (I could do a whole blog about the strange observations one makes from roadside artifacts.)  Our chef extraordinaire Linda got a break from cooking in the trailer tonight and got to use a real kitchen in this beautiful Lodge where we also had dinner.  A wonderful stop.
