Below is a shot of one of the highlights of the 76 mile ride into St. Francisville from Lafayette, LA. We had to cross a busy bridge over a flood plain, with no hint of a shoulder. With our sag driver watching our back and with flashers engaged, we rode in front of her in 2's for the entire 3 and a half miles. It was great fun. Usually we are riding in groups of 2-4 or solo, so to ride in a group like this was comical. In the background of this photo is the only 'hill' that we had that day, another bridge over an actual river.
