Have I mentioned that West Texas has been in the throes of a pretty severe drought for quite a few years?  We see evidence of it daily, and wonder how the little green that we've been seeing here has happened.  The flood gauges tell the story that we are not witness to which is that when it does rain the water rises quickly and has potential to wash away anything in it's path.  Last year's group had to carry their bikes through water across the bridge in the following photos!
